So we’re going to shoot our “Twilight” parody tomorrow. In preparation, I’ve forced myself to watch trailers and clips from all the “Twilight” films. I don’t know the movies or the books aside from pop culture references, so this was all new to me. I can’t get over how dreadful they are. Usually I prefer to parody something I at least like…

To be honest, I would have been happy not to make a parody, especially considering how many other parodies are out there. But everyone seems to want me to do this. And it’ll probably get a fair amount of attention. The crappy 20-second “Twilight” video I did before got 9,000 views on YouTube, and I barely put any effort into it!

But for this video, I was able to come up with a unique twist on the average parody, made up some jokes that hadn’t been done before (and a few that have), and we all just happen to look pretty similar to the characters. The script got the approval of some actual “Twilight” fans (poor souls) and we’re off to film tomorrow. It’ll be fun!
